Bad internet
Since Sunday my Internet at South Rock has been down and it seems that we were the only apartment that eventually did not get fixed. My last two blogs have been posted in the library, I have been spending most of my time here since in the past two days I have had to type three papers. Another dilemma has been my fantasy football and how I have been unable to check on scores and players to see how my team did. I know realize so much more how dependent we are on not only the Internet but also technology in general.

Breast Cancer web page
I just finished up my web page for tech class which was very stressful for me all week because i had trouble using the program at some points. I would get so frustrated and have to completely stop and take a break to take my mind off of it. While creating it though I learned so much more than i already did and it really interested me since I know a few close people to me that were diagnosed with breast cancer. I learned ways to help prevent it and steps you can take to ensure that your chances for receiving it stay low.
Football
Over this past weekend I went to Edinboro to visit one of good friends from high school. On Saturday we both attended the football game since Slippery Rock was playing. I was very impressed with the game that was played and it was very exciting to watch since I knew one or two players from each team. It was quite a game the whole way through in fact The fighting Scots won the game on one of the last plays when their running back scored with just 18 seconds left to eventually lead them to victory. This was my only my third game that I have seen Slippery Rock play but after this game I plan on attending every home game that I can.

The Arc
I recently started going to the Arc again to run and lift. Their cardio room which contains weights is too small for the amount of people that go there and it is always packed. I usuallly go during the late afternoon about four or five and it always seems to be packed at this time of day. On the upside of things I tried the climbing wall for the first time this week and it was harder than i thought but quite an experience and I am glad i tried it. Overall the arc is a great oppurtunity for both social and physical activites but in my opinion could use a little more space due to the amount of people that are taking advantage of the oppurtunity.
